What Does the CBT Course Include?
- Element A – Introduction & Safety Briefing – legal requirements and protective gear.
- Element B – On-Site Training – bike controls and basic maintenance.
- Element C – Practical Riding Skills – slow control, gear changes, cornering, braking and emergency stops.
- Element D – Pre-Road Briefing – road rules and safe positioning.
- Element E – On-Road Ride – minimum two hours supervised riding around Woodingdean and East Brighton.
Complete all five elements to earn your DL196 CBT certificate – the official DVSA authorisation to ride up to 125 cc on L plates.
