2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds Because our instructors and bikes are reserved specifically for you, late cancellations leave us with empty slots we cannot fill. Our policy is as follows:
Notice Given Policy:
More than [14] days: Full refund or free reschedule.
Between [7] and [14] days: 50% refund OR reschedule for a fee of £25.00.
Less than [7] days: No refund. Full course fee is forfeited.
Non-Attendance: If you fail to attend your course for any reason, you will forfeit your full course fee.
School Cancellations:
If we must cancel your course (e.g., due to instructor illness, severe weather that makes riding dangerous, or mechanical failure), we will reschedule you for the next available date at no extra cost. We are not liable for any other costs you may incur (e.g., travel, time off work).
3. Course Duration, Ability & Progression Our training courses are designed to take you through a set syllabus, culminating in a road ride. However, motorcycle training is heavily dependent on individual ability and strict safety standards.
Progression Based on Ability:
You are booking a training course, not a guaranteed number of hours. To progress to the on-road element of the training (Element E of CBT or test preparation), you must first demonstrate competence and safe control of the motorcycle in the off-road training area.
Safety Limits & Early Finish: If our instructor determines that you have not grasped the basic controls or are not safe to be taken out on public roads, your training day will conclude at that point (this typically occurs around 13:00).
Group Training Dynamics: This policy is strictly enforced to ensure your safety, the safety of the public, and to allow the instructor time to take the remaining successful pupils out for their required road ride so they can complete their course.
No Refunds for Early Conclusion: If your training is concluded early because you have not met the required safety or progression standards, you have still received the training and the instructor's time up to your safe limit. Therefore, no refunds or partial refunds will be issued for the remainder of the scheduled day.
4. Continuation Training & Re-booking We understand that everyone learns at their own pace, and safety must always come first. If your training day is concluded early because you require more off-road practice before heading out onto public roads, we want to support you in reaching your goal.
Continuation Discount: Students who are unable to progress to the road ride on their initial booking are eligible for a discounted "Continuation Rate" of [£150.00 / 25% off] to return for further training.
Time Limitation: To qualify for this discounted rate, your continuation session must be booked and completed within [e.g., 30 days] of your original training date. This ensures the skills you have already learned are retained.
Booking Continuation: Please speak to your instructor or contact the office directly to arrange your continuation session at the discounted rate.
5. Documents & Legal Requirements (The "No Docs, No Ride" Policy) It is your responsibility to bring the correct documents. If you arrive without them, your training will be cancelled, and no refund will be given.
Driving Licence: You must bring your valid UK Provisional or Full Driving Licence (photocard). Note: If you have an old-style paper licence, you must also bring a valid Passport.
Check Code: You may be asked to provide a DVLA "Check Code" so we can verify your entitlements.
CBT Certificate: For Full Licence/DAS courses, you must bring your valid DL196 (CBT) Certificate.
Theory Test: For Module 1/Module 2 tests, you must bring your valid Motorcycle Theory Test Pass Certificate.
